Energy efficiency means lowering operation costs. Centrifugal fans with GreenTech EC technology are so much more advanced than normal fan systems that even upgrading existing units quickly pays for itself.

EC Motors consume on average about 30% less electricity than conventional AC motors. They use permanent magnets rather than inducing a secondary magnetic field in the rotor — and they can be connected directly to an AC main supply, making retrofit easy.

Portfil pioneered the successful retrofitting of the conventional AHU system to EC Fan System in one of the semiconductor industry facilities in the Philippines — bringing about 40% energy savings to our partner client. They have since converted all their conventional AHU systems to EC Fan System.
